RELEASE OF SAMPLE PAPERS FOR THE NEW LOWER SECONDARY CURRICULUM​


The Uganda National Examinations Board (UNEB) has released the sample papers for the End of Cycle Assessment of the New Lower Secondary Curriculum via the School portals.

This is in fulfillment of the requirement that UNEB release sample papers to schools prior to the first end-of-cycle examination for the New Curriculum.

Heads of Centers and Candidates are further notified that the sample papers are a guide to the assessment of the New Lower Secondary Curriculum, and not the final papers that Candidates will sit for.

The Heads of centers are called upon to make use of the sample papers as the teachers prepare the Candidates are to take the end-of-cycle examinations. The Board welcomes any feedback from schools on these sample papers.



"All Uneb examination centres have access to the sample papers on the Uneb portal. "Uneb will distribute hardcopy booklets to schools without centre numbers," Mr Odongo said in the statement.
Over thirty-six subjects from the humanities, sciences, vocational, and languages are covered in the sample papers.
